My Story
When I first picked up a camera, it was just a hobby. I loved capturing moments with my friends and family. But as time went on, my passion for photography grew. I started taking more and more photos, learning how to use different settings and editing techniques.
I found myself drawn to portrait photography, capturing the unique personalities of each person in front of my lens. I loved the challenge of getting the perfect shot, finding the right angle and lighting to really bring out their essence.

ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS
Engagement sessions are a great way for us to connect and get to know each other before your big day arrives! You'll learn all about our posing structure and you'll be a pro by the end of your session! This will make your wedding day pictures a piece of cake!
Time and location set the entire mood for your engagement session, so I recommend scheduling for golden hour — the last 90 minutes before sunset — when the light is soft, warm, and most flattering for skin tones. Choose a location that reflects your story as a couple, whether it’s a natural outdoor setting like open fields, woodsy trails, or a beach, an urban backdrop with modern architecture, or a meaningful spot like where you first met, and consider one location with variety (shade, open light, and texture) rather than rushing between multiple spots. I’ll help guide you based on light, season, and crowds, and we’ll always have a backup plan for weather to keep your session relaxed and stress-free.

Coordinate without matching — choose a soft, neutral color palette (like cream, sage, dusty blue, terracotta, or beige) with 2-3 complementary tones, and avoid large logos, neon colors, and busy small patterns. Opt for textures that photograph well like linen, knit, chiffon, or denim, and bring two looks if you can: one dressy (a flowy long dress, suit or blazer) and one casual that feels like you. Make sure everything is well-fitted, steamed, and comfortable so you feel confident — when you feel good, your connection shines through and that’s what makes the photos timeless.
What to
Aim for soft, timeless glam that enhances your natural features — think glowing skin, slightly more defined eyes and lashes than your everyday look, and a neutral lip that lasts, as the camera softens makeup by about 30%. Professional makeup is highly recommended for a flawless, long-lasting finish and beautiful ring shots, and if you do it yourself, focus on even skin tone, matte foundation, defined brows, and waterproof mascara. For hair, go with a style you feel confident in but with a little extra polish — soft waves, loose curls, or a smooth blowout photograph best and add movement — and schedule any cut or color at least 1-2 weeks before, not the day before, bringing touch-up essentials like lipstick, powder, and hairpins with you.
